Yea, Yea.....

I went to my local craft store and found these goodies. 

I love to find crafty bargains.

Purchased at Michael's

Some of these items were only $1.00 
They have a section in the store that they always have items for $1.00. 
Notepads, Tags, Stickers, Journals, and so on......

Then on to Walmart to stock up on weekly stuff

and came home with more magazines.

Imagine that!

A Dedication to my Hubby...

You know when you find the one.  

I started dating my husband when I was 37 years old.  He was a little bit wild (I thought) and I was the quiet one.  So we joked that we needed that part of each other for balance and we started doing things together just as friends.  But we fell in love over the course of a year and then got married.  For two people to be so different, we are so in tune with each other and our goals have always been the same.

What do I love about him?

He tells me every day he loves me.  He has not missed a day in 11 years.

He eats Mexican with me even when he isn't in the mood for Mexican Food.
He is kind and giving (especially to the elderly). I like that.

He is strong in his belief in God. 

Family is very important to him.

So Happy Birthday today Hunny.  You are truly one of a kind.

I must have .......

I've always had this "habit" or some might call it an obsession.

Can you tell what it is by this picture? 

You got it.  I buy alot of magazines.  I am drawn to them.

Things just don't feel right unless I have magazines and books around me. 

I knew that I needed to weed them out.  So I have started going through them.

I am keeping my favorites and re-cycling the others. 

Tip:  I always keep my decorating, craft and scrapbooking magazines

and use markers to label my favorite pages.

Then I have easy access to finding a page that I know I have seen before.

Now I just need to get to organizing the family photos in these photo boxes below.

Other Munchkins....

The granddaughters came for a weekend visit recently.  

We call this one Cowgirl.

This is paw paw's girl. 

Even their parents were acting silly.  Imagine that!

We had a great time together.  Looking forward for the next visit.
